Gardening: Age of Aquariums, Part 2

The finished project. It was a lot of work, but I think we just picked up a valuable asset.

Behold!  I present to you.... The Aquarium Planter!  Clad in the sleekest of $.33 linoleum Home Depot had to offer, this home accessory is something any aquarium gardening aficionado can't do without.  It comes complete with a soaker hose, PVC trellis work, and smooth luxury lines that are the pinnacle of engineering and design.  I know. You're jealous.  Its ok to admit it.  If you decide to try this at home, just remember you saw it here first.

All joking aside, I know this planter may not be the loveliest thing ever to grace the pages of Better Homes and Gardens, but I think its going to work.  And it is finished, for which I am grateful.  I got to recycle some junk, pick up some food square footage, and feel the satisfaction of another item checked off the to-do list.  If you're interested in the blow-by-blow pics of the project, they can be found on SSA's Facebook Page.  Be sure to hit the like button to leave a comment if you have thoughts or questions to share.

I'll keep you posted on how its doing.  For tonight, I'm signing off and tottering off go bed.  See you soon!
